I want a 4/4 violin less than $40.00, no shipping. If want to sell me one tell or say a good website.
What, a prop to smash in a play?
The cheapest violin I’ve ever seen on eBay was $57 new, with a bow and case.
… Pity the fool that bought it.

You want a violin that will do nothing but cause you problems, and that you’ll probably have to spend more than $40 on just so that you can play it without bashing your head against a brick wall?
I’d advise you to be patient and save money for a while so you can get a decent one.

You cannot possibly find anything at that price. You’ll be sorry if you throw your money away. The least costly instrument that actually sounds good is this one:

Hey, I bought a violin off ebay from one of the power sellers that include the violin, case, bow, etc… for about 50$. Let me say that it is not worth it. I had to get a new bridge, new strings, new bow, which alone ran me about 70. The violin before I had work done to it was almost unplayable, as the tune and sound was somewhat sour. After I had work done to it, it sounded better, good enough to practice on, but definitely not acceptable for performing. I would honestly suggest just renting one out monthly to see if you like it.
Good luck

For what, kindling? Anything you buy in this range will be garbage! You can check Craig’s List or the Freecycle websites, but anything new you buy at this price should probably go right in the fireplace.

If you are looking for quality, then you are asking for the wrong price. Try to spend just a little more so that you can get a good instrument to play on.
