Where can I buy an old, cheap Violin case?

on September 29, 2009

I’m looking to get hold of an old, cheap full size violin case, in pretty much any condition (No violin needed). E bay isn’t helping. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I’d say an instrument shop or a pawn shop. Break out the Yellow Pages and call around to save yourself some foot work. Good luck with your search!

I would check out pawn shops, second hand stores and even Good Will and Salvation Army. They might come with a violin but you can always do something else with that. You might be able to find one at a flea market.

Why not price a new one from the music shops in your town.
Maybe they are not as dear as you think since they are probably imported from China anyway.
