Okay, I’ve been playing violin for almost 6 years, and my teacher said it’s about high time I get myself a good quality violin. Y’know, nice looking, nice sound, etc. so today we’re going violin hunting. My current violin, which is a “student” violin, cost about $800 used (I bought it, not rented it) so my teacher is thinking about $1000 – $1500, maybe even more. What do you think?
What’s the price of a Stradivarius (violin)?
Just curious I know I can’t really buy one. And is it really some of the chemical that make it the best sounding violin?
What is a good price to pay for violin lessons?
I’m thinking of starting to learn the violin, and just searched on the net about the cost of violin lessons in Australia. Most of them were $50-$60 per hour which i thought was a bit too much for each lesson. What’s the average price to pay or whats a good price to pay?
