I am a beginner, and I would really love to purchase something within reason (incase I decide I don’t like it). Because I have no experience with a violin, I have no idea how to begin buying one. All information is greatly appreciated!
My advice would be to find a music store close to where you live and ask someone there. Or locate a violin instructor (preferably the one you’ll be taking lessons from) and ask them what they advise. Just choosing any old thing isn’t really the best course of action. A friend of mine plays (and has for a long time) and instructs and he is picky about what his students play.
